St. Bernard Parish deputies are actively searching for 22-year-old Lee Collins III, who is wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of two women on Easter night in the 2200 block of Centanni Drive. The victims were shot around 7:45 p.m. Sunday and later died at a nearby hospital. Collins, who is believed to be a family member of the victims, is now facing two counts of second-degree murder.
The Incident
On Easter Sunday evening, deputies responded to a disturbance call and found both women suffering from gunshot wounds.
They were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Sheriff James Pohlmann confirmed that Collins is related to the victims and allegedly fled the scene in a stolen 2019 white Ford stake-bed truck with Louisiana license plate Z258037. Following the incident, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Collins on two counts of second-degree murder.

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office has asked the public to help by providing any information that could assist with the manhunt. Residents are encouraged to report sightings of the stolen vehicle or any relevant home-security video from the area.
