A shocking shooting incident in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has left a teenage student injured and the local community deeply disturbed. According to police reports, three cousins were arrested after allegedly planning to attack a group of people near a school bus stop.

Three Cousins Arrested in Baton Rouge School Bus Shooting
Police officials from East Baton Rouge Parish said the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m. Investigators revealed that 19-year-old Cameron Williams allegedly drove 18-year-olds Xavier Williams and Kriston Williams to the area near Brownfields and Cooper drives before the shooting took place.
According to arrest documents, all three suspects reportedly knew what was going to happen while they followed a school bus carrying the victim. Authorities believe the group went there with the intention of confronting and attacking certain people.
Soon after arriving at the location, gunfire broke out and a teenager was shot while stepping off the school bus. The victim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently reported to be in stable condition. School officials later confirmed that the injured teenager is a student at Northeast High School.
Police Found Guns Inside the Suspects’ Vehicle
Deputies quickly started searching the surrounding area after the shooting. During the investigation, officers located the suspects’ vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
