The Gonzales Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 50-year-old Roy Hayward, who is accused of shooting a person in the leg and fleeing the scene on April 5.
Suspect Considered Armed and Dangerous
Police say Hayward is currently on parole and is not legally allowed to possess a firearm due to a prior felony conviction. Authorities warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Separate Disturbance Case
In an unrelated incident, police are also searching for 49-year-old Glen Coleman. He is wanted in connection with a disturbance that occurred on April 5 and faces charges of simple battery and domestic abuse battery.
