Sheriff Craig Webre has announced that the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will host a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) self-defense course this April.

Course Details

The R.A.D. course will take place over three days, from April 28–30, 2026, at the LPSO Range Classroom located at 3451 Highway 182 in Raceland, Louisiana.

This self-defense course, designed specifically for women, will run each day from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM. All three days of the course must be attended for full participation. The course will be taught by certified R.A.D. instructors from the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Registration and Fees

The course fee is $10, which will cover course materials. This fee is non-refundable. Due to limited space, advance registration is required. You can register online and make the payment at www.LPSO.net/classes.

The registration deadline is April 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
