A 79-year-old Florida man has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself multiple times to his neighbors.
Tyrone James Causey faces five counts of indecent exposure and lewd behavior, according to WPLG.
Alleged Incidents in Hollywood, Florida
Neighbors reported Causey after growing frustrated with his repeated behavior. Allegations include:
- Exposing himself in common areas of the building
- Making lewd gestures
- Thrusting his penis at a neighbor’s doorbell camera
On May 22, Officer Savannah Hutcheson of the Hollywood Police Department responded to Causey’s home. When she arrived, Causey allegedly answered the door wearing only a G-string thong.
Defendant’s Statements
Causey reportedly cited a Florida statute, claiming he had the right to be naked in the complex and that nudity was only illegal in public parks. He allegedly put on lipstick, touched himself, and told the officer, “Jump rope for me, baby doll.”
Arrest and Booking
Police spoke with five neighbors who said they had witnessed Causey’s behavior. He was arrested on five charges of indecent exposure and booked into Broward County Jail, according to Us Weekly.
Causey has a prior record of similar behavior. In 1987, he was arrested on the same charges. For the May 22 incident, a judge found probable cause to reduce the charges to misdemeanors, and he was released from jail.
