Maniac executes man cleaning clothes with wife at NYC laundromat; accidentally shoots 68-year-old bystander after

A shocking daytime shooting inside a Brooklyn laundromat left one man dead and an innocent bystander injured after a gunman stormed into the business and opened fire in less than 10 seconds, according to police and witnesses.

The deadly incident happened Monday morning inside the Xpress Laundromat on Utica Avenue near Avenue J in the Flatlands neighbourhood of Brooklyn.

Authorities say the 41-year-old victim was doing laundry with his wife when the suspect suddenly entered the laundromat and began shooting.

Gunman Opened Fire Within Seconds

According to the laundromat manager, surveillance footage showed the suspect entering the business while dressed completely in black and wearing a black mask.

The manager, Sufyan Alahmadi, said the shooter appeared calm and focused before quickly pulling out a hidden gun and firing multiple shots at the victim.

Alahmadi explained that the entire attack happened extremely fast, lasting less than 10 seconds before the suspect fled the scene.

Police said the victim was shot several times and collapsed inside the laundromat as terrified customers and workers scrambled for safety.

Bystander Accidentally Shot

During the shooting, a 68-year-old man who was reportedly not connected to the incident was accidentally struck in the foot by a stray bullet.

Authorities said the older man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Sources told investigators that the bystander does not have a criminal record and appears to have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Victim Died at Hospital

Emergency responders rushed the main victim to Kings County Hospital Center after the shooting.

However, despite medical efforts, he later died from his injuries.

Police have not yet publicly released the victim’s identity.

According to law enforcement sources, the victim had a criminal record and investigators are exploring whether the shooting may have been connected to gang-related activity.

Crime Scene Left Covered in Blood

Witnesses described a chaotic and horrifying scene inside the laundromat after the shooting ended.

Blood could reportedly be seen across the floor while officers secured the area and began collecting evidence.

Investigators are also reviewing surveillance footage that may help identify the masked gunman.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the area while still dressed in black clothing and wearing the face covering.

Investigation Still Ongoing

Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the fatal shooting as detectives continue searching for the suspect.

Authorities are expected to review nearby security footage and speak with witnesses as part of the ongoing homicide investigation.
