The Monroe Police Department is investigating a string of vehicle burglaries on the north side of the city.

Police report that the incidents occurred late Wednesday, May 27, into the early morning of Thursday, May 28. Several neighborhoods were affected, including:

  • 1000 block of Milton Street
  • 1000 block of Emerson Street
  • 800 block of Park Avenue
  • 1000 block of Park Avenue
  • 1100 block of Speed Avenue

How Residents Can Help

MPD is asking residents in these areas to check any security or doorbell camera footage from overnight and early morning hours for suspicious activity. Anyone with video evidence is encouraged to contact Monroe Police at 318-329-2600.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of North Delta at 318-388-2274. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 in cash rewards for tips that lead to an arrest or grand jury indictment of those responsible.

Authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to help prevent further incidents in the community.
