A homeless man in Toronto, infamous for a series of shocking “poop-bucket” attacks in 2019, has now been arrested in connection with two alleged s**ual assaults, police said.

Man Arrested for S**ual Assaults

Samuel Opoku, 30, a homeless man previously known for throwing buckets of human waste at random people, was taken into custody on May 12. He faces two counts of s**ual assault and indecent exposure.

The first incident occurred on May 9, when Opoku allegedly approached a group of women on a sidewalk, made s**ual advances toward one of them, grabbed her forearm, and assaulted her before fleeing.

The following day, Opoku reportedly followed a woman into a commercial office building and s**ually assaulted her from behind, escaping once again. Neither victim sustained physical injuries, and both did not know Opoku.

Connection to 2019 Poop-Bucket Attacks

Court documents confirm that Opoku is the same man involved in a series of grotesque attacks in 2019, which earned him the nickname “The Pee Pee Poo Poo Man” in a 2024 indie film about the crime spree.

During that earlier crime wave, Opoku threw buckets of “liquefied feces” at five random people in Toronto, including a child, shocking residents and police alike. One attack took place outside the University of Toronto around midnight, where a woman was doused with the liquid waste. Another occurred in the university’s John P. Robarts library, where he poured feces on two students seated at a table.

2019 Charges and Legal History

For the 2019 attacks, Opoku was charged with five counts of assault with a weapon and five counts of mischief interfering with property.

“At the time, a young girl had a bucket of waste dumped on her,” police Constable David Hopkinson told the media. “I don’t know what to say, this is absolutely disgusting.”

Opoku’s lawyer argued that he was suffering from mental health problems. He was released on $1,000 bail after three weeks in custody and returned to court in December 2019. The outcome of that case was not publicly disclosed.

Ongoing Investigation

Police continue to investigate the recent s**ual assault allegations and have confirmed that Opoku remains in custody. Authorities stress the importance of public safety while the legal process unfolds.
