Outside the Florida Taco Bell, police catch a man carrying pet fish and exposing his chimichanga

A bizarre incident in Florida ended with a homeless man arrested outside a Taco Bell after exposing himself in public, while also carrying a live pet fish in his backpack.

The Strange Incident

Flagler County deputies responded shortly before 1 a.m. Friday after a Taco Bell employee reported a man behaving indecently outside the restaurant. The suspect, Brandon Irizarry, 28, was standing outside the front door with three pairs of pants pulled down and his private parts fully exposed.

When officers arrived, Irizarry was so focused on his actions that he didn’t notice the police approaching. He tried to cover himself by pulling his hoodie down instead of fixing his pants.

The Fish in the Backpack

During the arrest, deputies discovered a live pet fish swimming in a plastic container inside Irizarry’s backpack. Authorities quickly gave the fish, named Baja Blast, to the Flagler County Humane Society. Staffers reported that the fish is now “doing great” in her new home.

Charges and Arrest

Irizarry was arrested for unlawful exposure of sexual organs and taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. He is being held on a $5,000 bond. Sheriff Rick Staly warned the public that late-night fast-food runs should end with a receipt—not a booking number.
