Leslie Williams was arrested on April 22 by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. His arrest was linked to an active warrant issued earlier in Rockdale County, Georgia, where he faces allegations of bigamy.
According to reports, the warrant had been issued on April 3. A deputy went to Williams’ home in Lady Lake, Florida, to serve the warrant. Although he was not at home at the time, the officer later spotted him driving nearby, pulled him over, and took him into custody without any incident.
