A disturbing incident unfolded in Livingston, Louisiana, on May 2, 2026, when a woman allegedly broke into her ex-boyfriend’s home, attacked him, and caused further damage as she fled the scene. The victim, who was stabbed in the chest, reported the attack to the police around 7 a.m. Officers responded to the residence and found the man with a serious stab wound.
The Attack
According to the Livingston Police Department, the victim identified his ex-girlfriend, 31-year-old Schilacy Johnson, as the person responsible for the attack. The incident occurred when Johnson allegedly opened the man’s bedroom window, entered, and stabbed him in the chest. After the stabbing, Johnson reportedly punctured the tires of the man’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.
At the time of the attack, the victim’s girlfriend and her two children were sleeping in the same bedroom. Fortunately, they were not harmed during the incident.
Emergency Response and Investigation
Emergency medical personnel arrived promptly and treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to the hospital. The victim was later discharged after receiving medical care for his injuries.
Johnson fled in a silver Nissan Armada, which was registered in her name. Based on the evidence gathered during their investigation, Livingston police issued an arrest warrant for her that same day.

Schilacy Johnson turned herself in to the Livingston Police Department the following morning, where she was taken into custody. She was booked on multiple charges, including attempted second-degree murder, home invasion, two counts of cruelty to a juvenile (for the two children present in the home), and simple criminal damage for slashing the tires.
