The 48th edition of the Crescent City Classic wrapped up with an impressive performance by Rolando Ortiz, who claimed first place in the men’s category with a time of 31 minutes and 4 seconds. Originally from Colombia and a recent graduate of McNeese State University, Ortiz showcased his strong track and field background in this year’s race.
Annie LeHardy Tops Women’s Category
In the women’s division, Annie LeHardy secured the top spot with a finishing time of 33 minutes and 55 seconds, leading a competitive field of runners.
Large Turnout for Annual Tradition
Race officials reported a sold-out crowd, with more than 20,100 participants taking part in the popular Easter weekend event. The Crescent City Classic continues to be one of the most anticipated road races in the region, attracting both elite runners and community participants.
Top Finishers in Open Categories
In the men’s open category, Ortiz was followed by Bryant White Jr. (31:42), Augustin Juneau (32:08), Jacob Plocher (32:19), and Carlos Zervigon (32:25).
In the women’s open category, LeHardy led the field, followed by Alicia Stamey (37:10), Courtney Cobb (37:37), Emmi Aguilard (38:41), and Maxey Hebert (38:49).
Masters and Grand Masters Winners
In the Masters (40+) division, Richard Bouckaert of New Orleans won the men’s race with a time of 33:03, while Charlotte Werhan of Harahan led the women’s category with 39:02.
For the Grand Masters (50+) division, Michael Salmon from Dauphin Island finished first among men with 37:53, and Michele Bravo of New Orleans topped the women’s category with a time of 41:33.
