A joyful prom celebration in Missouri ended in heartbreaking tragedy after a high school prom queen died in a deadly car crash just hours after the event.
Jordyn “Lunar” Williams, a student at Ritenour High School in St. Louis, had recently celebrated one of the happiest moments of her life after being crowned prom queen. Sadly, her future was cut short in a tragic accident that also claimed the lives of two other women.
Ritenour High School Prom Queen Killed in Missouri Crash
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on May 1, 2026, on southbound Lewis and Clark Boulevard in North St. Louis County.
Jordyn “Lunar” Williams was travelling with her aunt, 53-year-old Cherese Fisher, when another vehicle reportedly struck their car. Investigators said a Cadillac driven by 20-year-old Devin Daugherty sideswiped the vehicle, causing it to cross into oncoming traffic.
The car then collided with another vehicle driven by 28-year-old Andrea Medina.
Authorities confirmed that Lunar Williams, Cherese Fisher, and Andrea Medina all died as a result of the crash.

Suspect Reportedly Fled the Scene
Police said the driver of the Cadillac, Devin Daugherty, allegedly ran away from the crash scene after the deadly collision.
