New Orleans police are investigating an incident involving two juvenile males, a stolen vehicle, and an apparent shooting that occurred Monday afternoon.

According to the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), the incident began around 4:10 p.m. in the Felicity area when the two juveniles allegedly stole a vehicle and fled the scene. During the chase, they collided with another car, causing a red SUV to crash into a fence and a dark gray SUV to hit a wall along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Carondelet Street.

Shooting and Arrest

Approximately 15 minutes later, one of the juveniles was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the thigh. Both juveniles were taken into custody by police.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
