The arrest stems from an incident on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, near Napoleonville, when deputies were called to investigate a disturbance involving two juveniles. Upon speaking with one of the individuals involved, deputies learned that the disturbance was related to an issue that had started the day before.
As the investigation progressed, authorities discovered that Martin had allegedly threatened violence. When they attempted to arrest him, Martin fled the scene.
