A Memphis man, Jerry Stark, 34, has been arrested after allegedly biting his own infant son on the cheek during a public outburst at a local restaurant. The disturbing incident occurred at Memphis Wings restaurant on North Hollywood Street, where witnesses reported seeing “the baby’s skin on his lips” after the attack, which was captured on video and has since gone viral with over a million views.
Disturbing Incident at Memphis Wings Restaurant
Around 1 a.m., police responded to a call about a man attacking his child inside the Memphis Wings restaurant. Stark was first seen at a nearby gas station, where he reportedly asked for help while holding the baby.
Witnesses say that Stark then ran into the restaurant, carrying the infant, and began behaving erratically, even squeezing the child tightly until he turned blue. Patrons and bystanders managed to intervene and safely take the child away, but not before Stark allegedly bit the baby on the cheek.
One witness captured the shocking scene on video, which was later shared on Facebook. The video shows people outside the restaurant holding the door shut, reportedly preventing Stark from leaving.
