Concern is growing in Alexandria following a third arrest involving serious juvenile-related allegations this week.
Third Arrest in Alexandria Involving Juvenile Allegations
According to the Rapides Parish Inmate Inquiry System, 30-year-old Raymond Deshunna Thomas Jr. was booked on May 14, 2026, at 4:18 p.m.
Thomas faces multiple charges, including:
- Second-degree rape
- Indecent behavior with juveniles
- Contributing to the delinquency of juveniles
- False imprisonment
His total bond was set at $5 million.
Context of Recent Arrests
This arrest follows two other recent Alexandria Police Department (APD) arrests involving similar allegations and multi-million-dollar bonds. Authorities have not confirmed whether the cases are connected, but residents are increasingly concerned about the pattern and the lack of public communication.
