The investigation into the killing of an Acadiana High School student continues to develop as authorities announce another arrest connected to the case.

Second Suspect Arrested in Acadiana High School Student’s Murder
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of 19-year-old Markayla Angelle in connection with the murder of Wykiel Provost.
According to authorities, Angelle was taken into custody and booked on a charge of second-degree murder.

Another teenager, 17-year-old Wilshawn Gabriel, was arrested on a charge of accessory to second-degree murder.

Wykiel Provost Fatally Shot in April
