The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is investigating a triple shooting that occurred late Thursday night in Loranger, Louisiana.

Incident Details

Deputies responded to reports of gunfire on North St. Charles Avenue. When they arrived, no victims were immediately found, but evidence of multiple shots fired was discovered at the scene.

According to TPSO, the shooting began after an argument between two groups in the neighborhood. Residents reportedly came out of their homes to intervene, and the situation escalated into gunfire.

Victims and Injuries

Three people were taken to a local hospital with non-critical injuries. A 50-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy remain hospitalized, while a 33-year-old woman was treated and released with a graze wound.

Authorities noted that the 50-year-old woman was a family member of someone involved in the dispute. It is unclear whether the other two victims were part of the feuding groups.

Investigation and Public Appeal

Sheriff Gerald Sticker said deputies are working to identify a suspect in the shooting. TPSO is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact their Criminal Investigations Division at 985-901-2088 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-553-5245.
