Two Louisiana men are facing serious criminal charges after investigators accused them of breaking into a home in Louisiana and robbing residents at gunpoint during a violent home invasion last year.
Two Men Arrested In Louisiana Armed Home Invasion Case
According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office, Jared Marcus Wiggins and Kendell Michael Gale were arrested in connection with a reported armed robbery that happened in Labadieville on July 7, 2025.
Authorities said deputies responded to a home along Violet Street after receiving reports of an armed robbery involving multiple suspects.
Investigators stated that several individuals allegedly forced their way into the residence and held the people inside at gunpoint while stealing property from the home.
Victims Allegedly Held At Gunpoint
According to deputies, the suspects reportedly threatened the residents with firearms during the robbery, creating a terrifying situation for everyone inside the house.
Authorities said the victims were unable to leave or move freely while the robbery was taking place.
Because of those allegations, both men are now facing multiple counts of false imprisonment involving a dangerous weapon in addition to armed robbery and home invasion charges.
The case has drawn attention locally due to the violent nature of the alleged break-in.
Investigators Collected Evidence From Scene
The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office said investigators recovered several pieces of evidence at the home following the robbery.
According to authorities, deputies found clothing, firearms, and electronic evidence believed to be connected to the suspects.
Officials stated that the evidence helped investigators identify Wiggins and Gale as suspects during the investigation.
Law enforcement has not publicly confirmed whether additional suspects may also be involved in the case.
One Suspect Already In Jail
Authorities confirmed that Jared Marcus Wiggins was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
Officials said he is currently being held without bond.
Meanwhile, Kendell Michael Gale was already incarcerated at the Terrebonne Parish Correctional Facility on unrelated matters.
Investigators said Gale is expected to be transferred to Assumption Parish for formal booking related to the home invasion charges.
Charges Include Armed Robbery And Home Invasion
Both suspects are facing several serious felony charges connected to the incident.
According to authorities, the charges include armed robbery, home invasion, and four counts of false imprisonment while armed with a dangerous weapon.
If convicted, the men could face significant prison sentences under Louisiana law.
