The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is investigating a series of armed robberies that occurred on Friday, March 20, across different locations in the city.
Armed Robbery on Chase Street
The first robbery was reported in the 7700 block of Chase Street around 5:45 p.m. The victim, who was at a park with friends, stated that they were approached by a woman they knew. Suddenly, three vehicles pulled up, and several men exited, demanding property at gunpoint. The victim complied, and the suspects left the area.
Armed Robbery on St. Anthony Street
Several hours later, at approximately 9:30 p.m., another robbery occurred in the 1300 block of St. Anthony Street. The victim, who was working, reported being approached by four men wearing ski masks, who demanded their property. The victim handed over their belongings, and the suspects left in an unknown direction.
Armed Robbery on Maurepas Street
The final incident of the night took place around 11:12 p.m. on Maurepas Street. The victim, who was walking up the steps of their home, was confronted by a man with a gun who demanded their property. The suspect grabbed the victim’s belongings, causing them to fall. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
Ongoing Investigation
