A shooting in South Los Angeles on Thursday left four people hospitalized after three armed suspects opened fire in a busy neighborhood. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the 4700 block of South Broadway.
Details of the Shooting
According to witnesses, three armed suspects were seen chasing a man, and when they were unable to catch him, they opened fire at the scene. The gunfire struck three other victims who were standing outside a nearby liquor store. The suspects then fled the scene before police arrived.
Upon their arrival, LAPD officers found four male victims who had suffered gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported the victims to a local hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
Suspects and Investigation
The LAPD has described the suspects as three Black males but has not released further details, including the motive for the shooting or the identities of the victims. The investigation is ongoing.
