Several Riverside Academy Rebel football players have been recognized with post-season honors.

Rebels running back Elijah “Bill” Davis, kick returner Emmanuel “Manny” Franklin, and  offensive lineman Amiree Alexander were named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 1A All-State team, which was released on Dec. 30. Linebacker Kaleb Brumfield, punter/quarterback Luke Hymel, and defensive lineman Martrell Henry were given honorable mentions.

Davis, Alexander, Henry, Hymel and Brumfield, along with tight end Scott White, were named to The Times-Picayune’s Small Schools All-Metro team, which was released on Dec. 30.
