Color us excited!

Riverside Academy is gearing up to host its first ever Rebel Run — a Boosterthon Fun Run to help raise funds for student resources and incentives.

The event will be held during school hours on April 19. Students in pre-K through fifth grade may participate in a Glow Run. Students in sixth through 12th may participate in a Color Run in which runners and walkers will be doused in different colored powders courtesy of the faculty and staff.

To participate, each Riverside student must register and collect a $1 pledge per lap for 35 laps, totaling $35. Families may put up the pledge themselves, or students may get friends and family to pledge through their registration on the website booster.com.  Registration will open on  March 26. Fundraising begins April 9 and will run through April 19. The goal is $15,000.

The Riverside Swim Team is offering T-shirts for sale for $15. All orders must be turned in by 9 a.m. on March 27.
