Many of RA’s seniors, parents, teachers and a few special guests stopped by the Elementary School this week to read to the Pre-K to fifth grade students to celebrate Read Across America Week. There was a crazy hair day, favorite color day, Book Character Day. There were Muffins with Mom for the seniors and Donuts with Dad. One of the books was Bartholomew and the Oobleck, by Dr. Seuss. Things got a little messy afterwards as the kindergarten students made their own ooblecks.
