It’s the final step — of kindergarten, of middle school, of high school — when teachers celebrate, moms cry and dads pretend not to.

The 2022-2023 school year came to a close this week with its final graduation ceremonies. The seniors graduated on May 17, the eighth graders on May 22 and the kindergarten class of 2023 — the senior class of 2035 — graduated on May 23.
