To get Riverside Academy’s students and football players ready for Friday night’s football game and next week’s night of trick-or-treating, the school is having a Halloween-themed pep rally on Friday. Students and faculty members are encouraged to wear school appropriate Halloween costumes for the day. Costumes must follow the guidelines set forth by the administration.
No offensive language, signs or symbols may be worn. No tight clothing may be worn. Student may wear sweat pants or school appropriate jeans if following the theme. No sleeveless shirts, hoodies or midriffs may be worn.
Students may paint faces and use colored hair spray, but both must be applied before arriving at school. Wigs, props and hats are allowed but must be removed if a teacher asks or finds it distractive.
Leggings may be worn only if loose fitting shorts are worn as well.
Flip flops, sandals and Crocs are not allowed.
The Rebels will host Varnado Friday night at 7 p.m.
