After winning the District 10-1A title for the eighth year in a row, the Riverside Academy softball team saw its season end in the quarterfinal round of the Division IV playoffs. The Lady Rebels fell to Sacred Heart 3-2 to finish with a record of 19-8.
It’s no surprise then that the Lady Rebels dominated the All-District 10-1A softball team. The following players received recognition:
First team:
Pitchers — Kylie Bordelon and Amber Palermo
First base — Jaci Bordelon
Second base — Corrin Cashio, who was named District MVP
Catcher — Camille Mistretta
Third base — Cami LaRose
Shortstop — Olivia St. Pierre
Utility — Kenzie Granier
Outfielders — Chloe St. Pierre, Courtney Bordelon, Layla Price and Lanie Hymel
