They say all good things come to those who wait. That was certainly true for the Riverside Academy Class of 2021, whose members had to wait two months into their senior year to receive their coveted class rings in a scaled-down ceremony held Nov. 3 in the Rebel gym. Normally, Riverside seniors get their rings in a tradition-filled ceremony in the spring, but Covid-19 nixed those plans. Some traditions did remain, however. The 22 seniors who took part in the Tuesday night event were able to select  a special person — moms, dads, brothers, sisters or friends — to hand them their ring. They then were able to invite friends and family in attendance to turn their ring to begin the count to 21 for the year 2021.
