We had to wait until November, but the Rebel Nation finally celebrated its first pep rally Friday morning to mark the end of Homecoming Spirit Week. The entire student body, from Pre-k through 12th grade, was all decked out in Riverside red, white and blue, and filled the football stadium to watch the band, Southern Sweethearts and Color Guard perform. The Homecoming Court, made up of senior football players and their maids, was introduced and walked across the field. The Rebels were scheduled to face cross-river rival West St. John in Friday night’s football game. All alumni were invited to attend.
