The Riverside Academy Lady Rebels are off to a new soccer season. The coaches are Riverside alumni, Madison Roussel, and Lutcher High School alum Gracie Podufalski. There are
16 team members and a trainer. The girls are Olivia Berry, Courtney Bordelon, Kasey Bourgeois, Corrin Cashio, Noelle Cosse, Kaydence Hoover, Lanie Hymel, Graci Jacob, Sophia Lee, Camille Mistretta, Amber Palermo, Kayla Rummel, Mia Saijas, Emme Stowe, and Lauryn Vicknair. The girl’s trainer is Cayleigh Zenon.
The Lady Rebels have already competed in four matches. They lost their season-opener to Lutcher, 4-0, then lost another game to Terrebonne, 8-0. The Lady
Rebels won their first game of the season against ESJ, 4-0, then lost Pearl River 4-2 on Dec. 12.
The team will host its first home game Dec. 14 against Woodlawn.
