The Rebels are ready for jamboree action.

The Riverside Academy Rebels will take on the Bogalusa Lumberjacks at Archbishop Hannan High School in a jamboree Friday at 5:30 p.m.. The Rebels are coming off a great showing in their scrimmage last week against Ellender.

The Rebels were stellar on the ground. Martrell Henry rushed for 90 yards and had two touchdowns on 10 carries on the offensive side of the ball. On the defensive side Henry had two sacks and three tackles. Dedric Lastie also had a good game scoring two touchdowns. Mason Smith and Cameron Matt also scored.

The Rebels will take on St. Thomas Aquinas in their season opener on Sept. 1 in Hammond.
