The Lady Rebels slap hands with Sacred Heart players on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The Lady Rebels volleyball team saw their season end last week after winning one and losing one in the playoffs.

Riverside earned the No. 15 seed in the Division V Select bracket. The Rebels defeated Sacred Heart G.C. (3-0) on Oct. 30. In that game, junior Chloe St. Pierre led the team with nine kills and 11 digs, and senior Courtney Bordelon led the team with two aces.

On Thursday, Nov. 1 the team traveled to No. They then advanced onto the second round to take on No. 2 seed Westminster Christian, losing in three sets to end their season.

Senior Corrin Cashio said, ” We knew going into the game it would be rough, but I am glad we tried our hardest and left it out on the court. I wish the future teams the best of luck, because I know they have great things to come for this program in the future, and I am looking forward to witnessing it. ”
