August 29, 2021 changed the lives of thousands of residents of the River Parishes, including many members of the Riverside Academy family. Teachers and students alike lost homes, possessions, livelihoods. Even now, as the school year has ended, several families are still trying to put their lives back together.

Multimedia students Lea St. Pierre and Makenzie Allen chose to tell some of the stories and created this video as their final project of the school year,
