The RA swimmers finished the 2022 season at the State Swim Meet in Sulphur.

The Riverside Academy swim season came to an end on Thursday, Nov. 17 in Sulphur as the team competed in the 2022 LHSAA State Swim Meet. Both the girls and the boys placed in the Top 10. The girls finished seventh out of 19 teams and the boys finished ninth out of 23 teams.

Eighth grader Taylor Duhe finished 12th overall in the 100 Yard Backstroke and 15th overall in the 100 Yard Breaststroke.

Eighth grader Sofia Galvez finished 15th overall in the 200 Yard Freestyle.

Eighth grader Cami LaRose finished 12th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Senior MaKayah LaRose finished ninth in the 200 Yard IM and eighth in the 100 Yard Freestyle.

Senior Camryn Loving finished  third in the 50 Yard Freestyle and eighth in the 100 Yard Butterfly.

Junior Brennan Maus finished 16th sixteenth in the 100 Yard Freestyle.

The girls 400 Yard Freestyle finished ninth, the 200 Yard Relay finished seventh, and the 200 Yard Medley Relay finished fifth. The boys finished sixth in both the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay and the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
